Needless to stay we've been taking any and every opportunity given to us to raise money for expenses needed be taken care of and God has provided. We've held car washes, cleaned houses, yards, pools, and it has been a blast meeting new people and meetings some temporary needs of others. We still have a long way to go, but we've taken care of some major things, trailer is now fixed, the van is equipped with a new driver window motor, wired

speakers/radio, new universal joint, and all that's needed now is a few more tweaks and a new set of tires and we'll be ready to hit the road.

Speaking of hitting the road, we played this past weekend with some of the most incredible and talented friends and had a real good time over in Waxhaw, at the JAARS: Olive Branch center. It was a wonderful time of worship and celebration as The Melbourne Treatment released their S/T album, which we all suggest you pick up and give a listen to, ASAP. :D

The studio time has been going really well, Matt and Greg are done with their sessions and Stephen and Hayden are laying guitar and bass tracks tonight and tomorrow. Please be in prayer for us as we continue to seek God's heart and will for this album and the work that can be done by Him. We're not really sure what to think of this album other than the will and work of Christ is more fulfilling than any song we could write. We greatly appreciate each of your support and prayers. Secondly mentioned, we hope to have a few guest appearances from some very talented friends and we're extremely excited about the results and time spent together.

Lastly, if you haven't checked already we have posted the tour dates with Holding onto Hope on our myspace (www.myspace.com/theheeltheserpent) and we have a few TBAs that need to be filled. If you could help us out in any way possible, know of venues, bands, in that area we would definitely appreciate the help!

We'll post more updates on the studio work as the progress, along with videos and pictures.

Summer!

Greetings!

We realize the very absent enthusiasm we have had for attributing to this blog and apologize for this lack. However, we hope and believe you will forgive us and take some time to read this entry, it means a great deal to each of us.

During the next few weeks we will be praying about the future of this ministry and the location and desire in which God leads each of us. We are currently working through some thoughts and pray for God's will and work through us much more than the desires and wants of our own. God has blessed us unimaginably and we continue to pray for His blessings to be poured over so that we may do His work in vast and greater ways. Please be in prayer with us as we sort through these needs.

This summer we are taking the road head on for a full month tour with some cool dudes from California, Holding onto Hope. We are more than excited to hit the road and will work together to spread the love of Christ through food, water, and spiritual need. God has blessed us with the opportunity to work with some awesome guys, and we will be traveling all over the Mid-Eastern parts of the nation including states around and in: New York, Indiana, North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, and anything between. However, with such a long journey our current tires will need to be replaced, along with our entire trailer axle. We are doing the most we can on our own but some things we cannot simply do because of lack of skill and resources.

Also, the start of next week and perhaps this weekend, we will begin to work on recording as well as writing new music for the album. This will be a lot of work and a lot will need to be accomplished but through prayer and supplication God's guidance and peace will provide (Philippians 4:6-7).

So in short, we have a lot to do, with little time, so please, please, please be in prayer for us as we seek our Father's will and desire to be used for the betterment of our brothers and sisters of this world.

Van repair (leak in the ceiling)
Bibles/devotionals (hand out to needy)
Misc. Band expenses (strings, sticks, food/water, etc)
Support, in any way possible.

Also, If you have a location where we could host yard sales or car washes, please let us know!
If you need lawns cut, cars washed, houses cleaned, groceries picked/up delivered, please don't hesitate to ask, we will do nearly anything to meet these financial needs!

Please be in prayer that God provides the means and chooses to bless this ministry, specifically in financial situations and the reaping and sewing of lives for the Kingdom.

A new year; a new outlook

This year has been greater than we could have ever thought. The blessings of new friends and opportunities has overwhelmed each one of us and we cannot be any more thankful.

We have started this blog so that we could stay in a better connection with those who would like ( which is hopefully all of you) and post our own ventures and thoughts in our private lives. We hope this is something that we all can take from.
